Course Outline
This course is a follow on from Graphic Design Level 5
- Fundamentals of Graphic Design – its Laws and Styles
- Formulate Text / Images digitally to create a graphic design solution from a given brief. Apply and manipulate both vector and pixel- based imagery to create graphic design campaigns.
- Use different software packages in creating graphic design solutions – and utilise them all as a unit.
- Critically evaluate the development of a design solution and implement changes based on this appraisal.
- Produce Advertising projects that demonstrates graphic design solutions created for application to numerous different media platforms.
- Understand the value on Commercial Work – and how the workflow is conducted and produced.
- Study famous Designers and their work
- Study Famous Adverts through time – what gave them impact.
- Develop a style that is Professional and has a Commercial Value
